Not so antique road show

Did you guess which of these items were hot sellers when I was an active picker 2014- 2016?

Quilts were always good sellers (and keepers).

Pyrex, Tupperware and 1950’s containers were very reliable sellers.

We could sell every paint by number canvas we could find. They were a very hot seller.

Cowboy themed anything from the 1950s was a winner.

Chenille bedspreads and peacock-themed items were quick sellers. A 2-fer was a chenille bathrobe with a peacock on it.

Other popular items were vintage light-up Santas, board games and sets of Melmac.

I have ventured into the picking biz again. Surprisingly the items I have sold for the most money are       all memorabilia from World War II.

You just never know what’s popular and desirable.  I have this 1973 medal on Etsy and thought it     was really rare. HA! Who knew so many people bought the Richard Nixon Inaugural Medal???
