Ah yes.

It’s me in the second grade. The year I began to love to write.

I live in scenic and steamy Savannah, Georgia, in a tiny converted garage.  It’s quite the special place. This city is recognized internationally for the beauty of the historic buildings, fabulous seafood, exquisite flowers, our many parks and squares and massive, mossy oaks. Bonus? We are only a short distance to the Atlantic Ocean.

What’s important to know about me:

  • Trivia wizard
  • I want a goat
  • Lousy housekeeper
  • Always late
  • Cannot follow a map
  • Would rather buy books than jewelry
  • My day jobs are writing and making art, but so far only in my dreams.
Speaking of being an artist…
What does a papier mache artist do when she needs a place to keep her business cards? She makes a teacup for them of course.

New to Savannah? Here are a summary of our seasons:

FALL-ish

WINTER-ish

SPRING is idyllic with mild weather, fragrant flowers blooming everywhere, great weather for golf and beach when other parts of the country still have snow, historic home and garden tours and a Saint Patrick’s Day Parade second in size only to Boston.

SUMMER is HOT as hell with bugs, extremely humid, and may include a hurricane. (So why do so many people dream of living here? See SPRING above.)
