Darwin would be proud

Homo sapiens rock! We are nothing if not flexible and capable of change. We stand up! We become less hairless! We rarely carry a club!

Now in 2020, we are being asked to adapt to COVID-19. A fabulous new local gallery, Merchants on Bee, is a great example of what this adaptation looks like.

Masks, previously only for bank robbers, surgeons and Halloween are a requirement to come in. Forgot yours? Take one of ours.

Is this a robot? They are stationed at the front and back doors. Greeters? No, temperature machines. Before we know it, we put our forehead up to it when we come in without giving it a thought.

Both clever and classy; a shield at checkout made from vintage windows.

How did we do Mr. Darwin? I say we did a damn good job. If you are local, come visit the gallery at 2934 Bee Road in Savannah and see for yourself.
