Summer in the South.  Maybe the endless 100+ degree weather and oppressive humidity is the reason I feel a bit muggy myself. This blog post is me being lazy about research.

The exercise of listing myself was revealing. It lead me to the first assignment we were always given when we returned to school in September, “How I spent my summer”.  My summer?

• Working on my screenplay (finally) after taking an online class
• Taking multiple online art classes on art journaling and collage
• Opening an Etsy shop for my papier mache*
• Creating a substack account for my museletters*
• Researching my grandfather’s 1912 button company in NYC
• Reading masters of writing from E.B. White to Anne Lamott to Verilyn Klinkenborg
